In the rugged terrains of Lesotho, where traditional healthcare services often fall short, Vertice Mobile Healthcare, in collaboration with local health authorities, is making significant strides with its innovative Backpack X-ray solutions (LTE Nano).
Integrated with the Lynx-HCF platform, this portable X-ray technology is transforming lives by providing early detection of diseases in some of the country’s most inaccessible regions.
This initiative goes beyond mere technology; it focuses on reaching individuals within their communities, offering hope and actionable healthcare solutions where most needed.
Through this deployment, we have witnessed firsthand the profound impact accessible healthcare can have on improving outcomes and transforming lives.
To date, more than 24,000 individuals in Lesotho have been screened using the HCF Monitoring and Evaluation platform and digital X-ray clinics, with data available at both district and clinic levels. Notably, the screening rates are impressive, with a TB symptom screening rate of 99%, revealing that 14% of individuals screened show symptoms of tuberculosis.
