In April 2025, Botswana’s national TB programme took a leap toward faster, more accurate diagnosis with the successful deployment and training of Qure.ai’s CAD AI chest X-ray technology, supported by Vertice Mobile Healthcare.

The initiative equips frontline healthcare teams with real-time, AI-driven diagnostic tools that enhance TB detection — particularly in high-burden and underserved areas. By automating X-ray interpretation, the technology helps clinicians make quicker, more confident decisions.

Vertice Mobile Healthcare facilitated on-site training to ensure local teams are fully prepared to operate and maximise the benefits of this innovation.
“This is more than a tech rollout,” a Vertice representative shared. “It’s about expanding access to quality care and supporting national health goals.”

This marks a meaningful step in Botswana’s journey to improve health outcomes through scalable innovation — and the beginning of a new chapter in AI-powered healthcare delivery.
